Fourth Irish Born Protestant Ancestor
Thomas O'Kelley or Tomas Ó Ceallaigh
 
Thomas O'Kelley was born about 1657 in Carrickmacross Co Monaghan Ireland.  Actually, this is a missing ancestor and I am speculating about what his name might have been.  I have yet to find the records that tie William O'Kelley the son to Thomas O'Kelley the grandfather but because they were both Protestant, both Kelly, and both living in or near Carrickmacross I feel certain this connection existed but because Thomas would have been a young man at the time of the Battle of the Boyne, he might have been killed in the Willamette War.

Thomas O'Kelley "Gentleman" and my grandmother were married in Ireland about 1680 and had the following children:
